Tannenbaum Girl

Part portrait, part puzzle, part little stage of its own. This A4 handmade art puzzle plays with identity, expression, and transformation through layered wooden pieces that can be removed and rearranged.

The warm brown background, cream-toned portrait, deep red forms, and separate face elements create a bold composition with a slightly theatrical feel. Because the pieces sit above the base, the work has a sculptural quality that changes with light and shadow, making it interesting both as an object to interact with and as a piece of wall art.
